A new poll finds Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee with a 37 percent job approval rating.
It was conducted in late April and May by the COVID-19 Consortium for Understanding the Public's Policy Preferences Across States.
The Boston Globe reported the consortium initially conducted online surveys in each state about the handling of the pandemic but now asks about overall approval.
Nationally, the approval rating for governors is at 38 percent.
In nearby Massachusetts, Governor Healey's approval rating is at 40.
