Senator Jack Reed has met with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in France.
The Senator was part of a delegation attending D-Day ceremonies.
The Senator says they were told about mass aerial bombings by Russia- many of them done by drones.
And the Senator says US permission for US made weapons to be used within Russian borders was of critical importance.
The Senator said that the US continued its commitment to defend democracy in Ukraine and around the world.
