The Pawtucket Police Department is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting.
The victim was shot near the intersection of Jefferson and West avenues but had been taken to a hospital before police arrived.
Investigators say they found shell casings and blood at the scene.
There is no word on the victim's condition.
No motive yet nor are there any arrests.
