In the last days of the legislative session, Governor McKee has vetoed several bills.
One would have legalized kratom which is an herb that supporters say helps with recovery from things like opioid addiction.
Opponents say it hasn't been researched enough and is addictive itself.
Other bills that were struck down by the governor include one that would ban non-compete clauses for state employees.
Three others that would have created advisory boards for issues the governor says are already covered by state law.
