With the weekend upon us the Rhode Island Department of Health has recommended the reopening of two beaches and the closure of another.
The DOH yesterday recommended the closure of Barrington Town Beach while approving the reopening of Briar Point Beach and Hope Community Service Pond.
The Department of Health will monitor bacteria in the waters of the Ocean State through Labor Day.
