Brown University will change some of its discrimination and harassment rules as the result of a federal investigation.
The U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights opened an investigation earlier this year into alleged antisemitism on campus after war broke out between Israel and Hamas.
A Brown spokesperson said the university will review and revise as necessary its non-discrimination and anti-harassment policy as well as procedures for resolving complaints.
The university must also file a report of all complaints with the Office of Civil Rights this September and again in September 2025.
