RI Woman Charged In CT Wrong-Way Crash

The Rhode Island woman charged in a wrong-way crash in Connecticut will be arraigned on August 9.

Thirty-five-year-old Meghan Wolfsberger was arrested Saturday for operating under the influence, driving the wrong way on a divided highway and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

The accident happened on Interstate-395 in Killingly after the suspect allegedly pulled U-turn in the travel lanes.

Investigators say Wolfsberger showed signs of impairment, and they found empty alcohol containers on the driver's side of her vehicle.

She has been released on a 500-dollar non-surety bond.
