VP Candidate Walz Headed To Natucket Fundraiser This Week

Democratic Vice-Presidential candidate Tim Walz is scheduled to be in Rhode Island this week.

Walz will attend a campaign fundraiser in Newport on Thursday, but the venue and time have not been announced.

Governor Dan McKee, House Speaker Joe Shekarchi, Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse will also attend the event.

Organizers hope to raise at least 500-thousand-dollars for the Harris-Walz campaign.
