Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport is the recipient of over 9-million-dollars in federal funding.
The grant will advance constriction of a new cargo facility and aircraft parking apron.
When completed, the airport will have an additional 60-thousand square yards of apron, which officials said will improve its ability to process cargo and improve operational efficiency.
