Unionized school bus drivers in Warwick are seeking higher wages and better benefits.
They staged a picket outside the bus yard to publicize their demands.
A spokesperson for First Student said the company is willing to negotiate with the Amalgamated Transit Union local for as long as it takes to reach a mutually beneficial contract agreement.
School opens in Warwick August 29.
