A Pawtucket medical practice office manager has been sentenced for misappropriating almost 570-thousand-dollars in funds plus eleven-thousand-dollars in Temporary Disability Insurance benefits.
In addition to a sentence of 27-months in federal prison, she must pay nearly 580-thousand-dollars in restitution.
Authorities say Keller added family and friends as unauthorized paid employees and used patient co-payments for personal credit card debt, cell phone bills and college tuition payments for a family member.
Keller went on medical leave and was later terminated from the practice, but received TDI benefits even though she found
