Providence Police ID Stabbing Victim, Search For Suspect

Providence police have identified a weekend stabbing victim as the search for a suspect continues.

Thirty-four-year-old Brian Clements was stabbed at Chalkstone Avenue and Zone Street on Friday afternoon, becoming the city's ninth murder victim of the year.

Police say they are looking for 28-year-old Shabree Lovett in connection with the stabbing.

Anyone with information on Lovett's whereabouts is asked to call police.
