Eight Arrested In Statewide Marijuana Grow Operation Bust

Rhode Island State Police arrest eight people on charges that they created and operated a marijuana grow operation.

Federal, State and local and local police issued a series of search warrants on various properties after following through on an anonymous tip about the illegal operation.

In the end, the operation hits facilities in North Providence, North Scituate, Westerly, Providence and Woonsocket.

Almost 280 pounds of marijuana confiscated.

922 mature pot plants.

859 marijuana seedlings.

Cocaine; Oxycodone Pills;

four guns; a large capacity feeding device;

two motorcyles and nearly 80 thousand dollars in cash.

Arrested are:

Kenneth LaFlamme, age 46, of North Providence who is being held without bail.

John Delauro, age 52, of North Scituate - held without bail.

David Mercier, age 59, of Narragansett - released on 20 thousand dollar bail.

Juliet Gannon, age 53, of Narragansett - held without bail.

Kevin Gannon, age 26, of Charlestown - held without bail.

Marcus Wilcox, age 31, Woonsocket- held without bail.

Anthony Ricci, age 30, of Lincoln - held without bail.

Michael Moreno, age 41, North Providence - released on 30 thousand dollar bail.

The investigation is continuing.
