There will be a public meeting on Tuesday evening regarding the future of transportation in Rhode Island.
The state's Public Transit Authority is looking for feedback from residents on plans that would use light rail or rapid buses to connect Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cumberland, Cranston and Warwick.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Cranston Senior Center.
RIPTA is also reminding the public that it has extended the online survey for the Metro Connector Study to October 17.
