URI Poll: Respondents List Concerns, News Preferences

A new University of Rhode Island poll finds housing, healthcare, education, repairing roads and bridges are the top concerns of 500 respondents.

They want the General Assembly and the McKee administration to address those issues.

Six in ten worry that artificial intelligence will hurt elections through political media known as "deep fakes."

If limited to one news source for election and political coverage the top choices are Fox News at 14-percent, CNN at 13-percent and locally Channel 12 at 12-percent.

The poll's margin of error is six-point-two percent.
