Rhode Island is posting updates on the number of mail-in and early voters ahead of the general election.
According to the Secretary of State's Office there have been more than 12-thousand mail-in ballots returned to the Board of Elections and more than 41-thousand residents have voted early.
As of Tuesday evening, just over 53-thousand ballots had been submitted.
Early voting continues through 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4.
