Providence Board Of Licenses Orders Closure Of Federal Hill Restaurant

The Providence Board of Licenses has ordered a Federal Hill restaurant to temporarily close following a cutting incident over the weekend.

Police were called to Afrique d'Lounge on Spruce Street at around 1:00 a.m. Sunday, after a security guard allegedly stabbed a person during an altercation.

The patron reportedly was cut on the forehead, and Qasim Flynn has been charged with disorderly conduct.

The restaurant was ordered to close for 72-hours ahead of a hearing on November 7.
