A 48-year-old woman is expected to recover after she was struck by a van in Cranston over the weekend.
Police say the victim was hit by U.S. Postal Service minivan at Cranston Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue Saturday evening and she was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Investigators say the victim's injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash and it's unlikely that any charges will be filed.
