East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva says police are investigating hateful flyers that have been distributed around the city.
He says the hate-filled messages were created and shared by a Nazi organization and police are taking extra precautions to ensure public safety.
In a statement, the mayor says he wants to assure residents that the police department is committed to investigating any actions that may result in breaking the law.
