Four Cases Of Whooping Cough At Portsmouth High School Since October

The Rhode Island Department of Health has confirmed four cases of whooping cough at Portsmouth High School since October.

Health officials say there have been at least 44 cases of whooping cough in the state since September.

Last month the Centers for Disease Control reported that whooping cough cases nationwide have surged to their highest levels since 2014.
