RI Receives Grant To Support Affordable Housing Improvements

The Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank and Department of Housing awarded 2-point-8-million-dollars to five communities to support improvements for affordable housing projects.

The funding will be used to upgrade municipal infrastructure, including site preparation, stormwater management, sidewalks, and wastewater utilities.

Pawtucket receives 1-point-2-million to fund green infrastructure construction for the transit-oriented "RISE Pawtucket" apartments and West Warwick will use nearly 209-thousand-dollars for infrastructure upgrades for the Lofts at Riverpoint renovation project.
