Northwest Naturals Recalling Cat Food

Northwest Naturals is recalling a batch of its Feline Turkey Recipe raw frozen pet food after it tested positive for avian influenza virus, according to the Rhode Island Department of Health.

The department says one case of illness in a domestic cat has been reported in connection with this product, but it did not occur in Rhode Island.

The product was sold through distributors in Rhode Island though, as well as across the country.

Anyone who purchased the product should discard it immediately and contact the place of purchase for a refund.
