Wind Advisory In Effect Until 7:00 P.M.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Rhode Island until 7 o'clock this evening.

Winds of 15 to 25-miles per-hour are possible along with 50-mile-per-hour gusts.

The National Weather Service advises residents to secure objects that could blow away and be prepared for the possibility of downed trees, power lines and electrical outages.

The high winds could make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles so motorists should use caution.
