Rhode Island continues to have the highest number of Christian and Catholic adults in New England.
However, a study from the Pew Research Center finds the numbers are dropping.
In the last decade, adults in the state that identify as Christian is down from 75-to-63 percent.
The number who specifically identify as Catholic fell from 42-to-39 percent.
According to the study people nationwide are less likely to identify as Christian now than ten years ago.
