Providence Police Release More Information On Wendy's Drive-Thru Assault

Providence Police have released more information after a weekend assault at a Wendy's drive-thru.

The incident happened at around 4 a.m. on Sunday when a man in a car became enraged because the location was closed.

Police say the man is accused of climbing through the drive-thru window and threatening employees with a knife.

Investigators say there were three other people inside of the suspect's vehicle including a woman who allegedly had a gun.

The assault suspect is still on the loose and police describe his vehicle as a black Hyundai.
