Attorney, Wyatt Detention Detainee Plead Guilty In Drug Smuggling Scheme

A Massachusetts attorney and an inmate have pleaded guilty in a scheme to smuggle contraband into the Wyatt Detention Facility.

Theresa DiJoseph allegedly received papers soaked in synthetic marijuana from Hanasa Stedford and tried to give them to Wyatt detainees.

She pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, and providing a prohibited object to an inmate.

Detainee Matthew Pizarro pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, distribution of Suboxone, and possession of contraband by an inmate.

DiJoseph is expected to be sentenced on June 12th and Pizarro's sentencing is set for June 10th.
