The remaining members of a retail theft ring have been sentenced in Rhode Island's U.S. District Court.
The Guatemalan nationals, who are in the U.S. illegally, have been in custody since their arrest in April of 2024.
The men stole at least 280-thousand-dollars' worth of tools, flooring, wiring, and other high-end materials from Home Depot stores in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
The last two defendants have been sentenced to time served and the judge ordered their return to Guatemala.
In January, Marvin Estuardo Morales De Paz was sentenced to 30-months, and he is now under an ICE detainer.
Sebastian Lajuj-Solomon was sentenced to time served in January and deported.
