RI Man Sentenced For Providing Drugs To Street-Level Dealers

A Rhode Island man has been sentenced to five-years in federal prison for providing drugs to street-level dealers.

Jonathan Masa-Gonzalez was one of more than a dozen people charged in September of 2021 following an investigation into a drug trafficking conspiracy in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Federal authorities say Masa-Gonzalez was a broker in the sale of cocaine to a leader of the conspiracy.

He pleaded guilty in June of 2024.
