Untraceable "Ghost Guns" Growing Problem In RI

According to a new report untraceable "ghost guns" are a growing problem in Rhode Island.

They are obtained via a 3D printer or mail order kit. There were 100 cases in 2024, involving a "ghost gun."

Attorney General Peter Neronha said the state continues to be "inundated with firearms."

He said his office is working tirelessly to address illegally-owned guns through enforcement of existing laws and advocating for new ones.
