Alleged Member Of Puerto Rican Drug Gang Arrested In Rhode Island

An alleged member of a Puerto Rican drug gang has been arrested in Rhode Island. According to a federal indictment out of Puerto Rico,

Carlos Reyes-Nunez is one of 48 people involved in an operation that trafficked heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine.

The indictment alleges that from 2019 through the present, the defendants worked as part of a drug trafficking organization known as "Bin Laden Records" that distributed drugs near a public housing project and a school in the municipality of Bayamón.

If convicted, Reyes-Nunez faces ten-years to life in prison.
