Grace Period For Warwick Speed, Red Light Cameras Has Ended

The grace period for drivers who violate red light, school bus and speed cameras in Warwick has ended.

Police say all of the new enforcement cameras went live on Monday and drivers will now be fined.

Motorists who are caught running a red light at key intersections will face a fine of 85 dollars for each violation, and those who are driving ten miles per hour or more over the limit in school zones will be fined 50 dollars.

Failing to stop for a school bus with its lights flashing and arm extended now face a 250-dollar fine.
