Five Men face Drug And Weapons Charges After State Police Investigation

Five men are facing charges after an investigation into a large-scale cocaine and fentanyl distribution operation.

The joint operation involving State Police in Rhode Island and Massachusetts led to the execution of search warrants on homes in Woonsocket, Central Falls and Bellingham.

The searches yielded more than 48-hundred grams of cocaine, 100 grams of fentanyl, two fully loaded semi-automatic pistols and 79-thousand-dollars in cash.

According to police, those charged have been identified as:

Enyel Delapaz Pantojas, age 23, of 90 Elbow Street, Bellingham, Massachusetts

Eddyziel Mejia Cortes, age 22, of 90 Elbow Street, Bellingham, Massachusetts

Daryl Yahir Melendez Lopez, age 21, of 90 Elbow Street, Bellingham, Massachusetts

Hector Ramos, age 29, of 182 Cumberland Street, Apt.85, Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Ricardo Salazar, age 56, of 122 Cross Street, Floor 2, Central Falls, Rhode Island

Investigators say the suspects were using the homes to store, package and distribute the drugs.
