No community in Rhode Island is now affordable for renters or home buyers earning the annual median income of 48-thousand-434-dollars.
That's according to the 2025 Housing Fact Book released today by HousingWorks RI.
The report found one in three households faces housing insecurity.
Researchers said the crisis is caused by factors including high demand, tight supply, limited investment and strict regulations.
