Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha has announced their Cold Case Unit has cracked two murders from 1984 and 2007.
Neronha's office says they solved the murder of 24-year-old Debra Stone in Narragansett in 1984 and 49-year-old Cynthia McKenna in North Providence in 2007.
Investigators say Stone was murdered by Robert Geremia after he discovered she was allegedly stealing from him.
Geremia died 1995.
In McKenna's murder, Neronha says new forensic and investigative methods determined she was killed by Robert Corry Junior, with whom she had been in what was described as a rocky relationship.
Corry died on 2014.
