Rhode Island Congressional Democrats Gabe Amo and Seth Magaziner both voted against the Continuing Resolution that reopened the federal government last night.
Amo says the Republican bill betrays Rhode Islanders and will allow health care costs to soar. He says the republicans chose a shutdown instead of addressing the health care crisis they created.
Magaziner says he could not in good conscience vote for a budget that will make health insurance unaffordable for countless people.
He says he will continue to fight to restore ACA funding to lower health care costs for Americans.
