Victim Of Deadly NYC Stabbing Is From Pawtucket

The victim of a deadly stabbing in New York City is a 23-year-old man from Pawtucket.

The assault on Daevon Silva happened at around 1 a.m. Monday at the intersection of West 49th Street and 7th Avenue.

According to the NYPD, Silva suffered stab wounds to his back and thigh, and he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There's no word on a suspect and police say their investigation is ongoing.
