Providence Mayor Brett Smiley says residents are going to have more options on where to park during snow emergencies.
Smiley announced yesterday that the city has expanded the number of spots where overnight parking is allowed when a ban is in effect.
When a snow emergency is issued, all vehicles have to be removed from the streets regardless of their permit status.
