RI Nonprofit Cited For Potential Medicaid Fraud

The Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services is citing a nonprofit for alleged Medicaid fraud.

The office has sent a letter to Thrive Behavioral Health ordering it to take corrective action, citing hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential overbilling.

Thrive denies the allegations and plans to meet with the agency to present materials addressing the audit's allegations.

The Warwick-based nonprofit provides mental health and substance use services.
