A driver has been arrested following a police pursuit from Warwick to Cranston on Thursday.
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the Apponaug neighborhood, but the driver took off and led police onto northbound I-95.
The chase ended in Cranston when the driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a pair of police cruisers on the Interstate.
Forty-five-year-old Roberto Lopez bailed out of his vehicle but was taken into custody near Wellington Avenue.
He's facing numerous charges including DUI and eluding law enforcement.
Lopez is wanted on a warrant in Maine.
