The Rhode Island Department of Transportation says crews are working to clear the roads following Sunday's snowfall.
A Winter Weather Advisory ended at 7:00 this morning for much of the state including Southeast and Northwest Providence and Newport counties and parts of southeastern Massachusetts.
Slippery road conditions are expected through the morning and anyone who has to be on the roads should slow down and use extra caution.
Fewer vehicles are expected on the roads today since government offices and schools are closed for the Martin Luther King Day holiday.
