Annual Census Is Happening Tonight

The state's annual homelessness census will be taking place tonight.

Dozens of volunteers have signed up to participate in the Point in Time Count, which is a federally mandated census that'll look at just how many people are homeless on a winter night.

They will be searching for individuals alongside highway ramps as well as in parks, alleyways and parking lots.

Data that's collected from every state is used to help determine federal funding.
