Dozens Are Displaced Following Fire

An investigation is underway into what caused a fire in Providence that displaced over two dozen people.

A firefighter reported seeing smoke from the fire station before crews were called to the scene of the blaze at a home on Sorrento Street yesterday.

Everyone who was inside the residence at the time was able to make it out safely.

The American Red Cross will be assisting the 25 individuals who need a new place to live.
