Family Of Conimicut Point Beach Drowning Victim Sues City Of Warwick

The family of a woman who drowned at Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city.

Twenty-eight-year-old Nicolette Biber of East Greenwich went into the water near the sandbar on July 13th, 2023, and did not resurface.

Her body was found shortly after she disappeared.

iber's parents claim the city knew about dangerous and life-threatening conditions at the sandbar but did not take appropriate measures to enhance and ensure the safety of visitors.

Biber's parents are calling for a jury trial and five-million-dollars in damages.
