Applications Now Open For Housing 2030 Site Acquisition Program

Governor Dan McKee and the Rhode Island Executive Office of Housing say applications are now open for the State's new Housing 2030 Site Acquisition Program.

The program is funded in part through the state's historic 120 million housing bond and it is being administered by the Rhode Island Foundation.

The Site Acquisition Program is designed to help nonprofit developers compete more effectively in Rhode Island's real estate market.

The governor says partnering with the Rhode Island Foundation and leveraging philanthropic dollars, the state is tripling the impact of bond funds and accelerating the development of affordable and supportive housing.
