Blood Emergency Declared In RI

There is a declared blood emergency in Rhode Island as available inventory is dangerously low.

There is less than a two day supply to serve both routine and emergency patient needs.

A safe supply is typically enough for five to seven days.

The Rhode Island Blood Center is urging all eligible donors, especially those with type O blood, to make an appointment as soon as possible.
