Ed Thomsen is in his 50th year as CEO of Thomsen Foodservice, a family owned Rhode Island business. Ed Thomsen began working at Thomsen Foodservice immediately upon his graduation from Brown University. It has been a life-long endeavor to grow the company from its very modest beginnings, to the mid-sized enterprise it is today.
He is a resident of Rumford, Rhode Island, along with his wife Karen. Together they have 6 adult children and 8 grandchildren. He has been active within the community for those 50 years, serving on various boards, as well as coaching softball in the Rumford Little League for 14 years.
